Father's Day 2005

Father's Day was a lot of fun this year. Michaela was very excited about it. She baked brownies, and made me a beautiful pencil holder out of popsicle sticks.

Mary and Michaela also got me a memory card for my PSP, and a "spa haircut". And of course I can't forget the photo of Michaela in the talking frame. Michaela was much more articulate this year then two years ago when I got my first talking picture frame. :) The weather was a little chilly, but it got sunny around 4:30. We had a get together at Mom's house with Dave, Sandy, Zach and Taylor, and also Uncle Danny, Aunt Dolores, Denise and Al, and Denise's new boyfriend.

We did a little swimming. Me and the kids under 6 that is. Here's me diving into the pool:

Michaela gave her Pop Pop a Yo Yo. He was a Yo Yo champion from way back in the day. Sure enough, Dad really knew how to use that thing! He was walking the dog, rocking the baby, doing the Texas Star and many more. I could just about get the thing to come back to my hand.

I'm stuck at work late working on a big patent application. The thing should have been sent out Friday. I sent part of it Friday, and figured I'd send the rest today. Not sure how much longer I'll stay here, but it'd be nice to send it out.
